Affordable Housing Workshops
Housing is one of New York City’s biggest challenges. Ideally, housing is considered affordable when a household spends only 30% of their income on rent. Unfortunately, many New Yorkers spend nearly 50% or more of their income on rent.
The City’s Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), through Housing Connect, offers lottery-based affordable housing opportunities. Eligible New Yorkers can apply for units based on their income and household size. If you win the lottery, your rent will be capped at 30% of your income!
Sadly, many are unaware of this life-changing opportunity. Join IDG Wellness to learn more about the affordable housing lottery, eligibility, and the application process. Take the first step toward affordable housing today!
